Triggering the labeling of small objects
On a conveyor section, small objects or containers being conveyed in sequence have to be detected with positional accuracy and a short response time to trigger their labeling. Fiber-optic sensors from di-soric can be used here as a cost-effective solution. They detect the front edge of the containers and control the labeling through their switching signal. At the same time, our fiber-optic sensors feature the lowest space requirement in the area of the conveyor section. Thanks to the integrated kink protection, the fiber-optic cable is ideally protected and you can use the included cutting blade to shorten it to the correct length. The fiber-optic amplifier is flexibly installed on a top-hat rail wherever installation space is available. The amplifier is adjusted by teaching. The switch point and signal value can be adjusted and read off using the easily visible LED displays.
